EyeCare's Vision Service accepts most major Insurance and Union optical plans at all our locations. As a member of HIP, Comprehensive Vision Services we cover a vast amount of vision care programs. Your health insurance plan or union optical benefit covers the cost of an eye exam and in many cases, all or part of the cost of your eyeglasses.

As a HIP patient your coverage may be available to you as follows:

• If you are a HIP VIP plan member, you are entitled to a yearly, optometric examination by a NY State licensed optometrist, and a complete pair of glasses. Your choices include: A large selection of frames in plastic. Lenses in single vision, flat top bifocal, executive bifocals or trifocals, cosmetic tint included.
  
  
• If you are a HIP HMO plan member, you are entitled to a yearly, optometric examination and a complete pair of glasses. Your choices include: A large selection of frames in plastic. A Lens selection in single vision, flat top bifocal, executive bifocals or trifocals, cosmetic tint included. (Note: Some HMO plans require a co-pay while others don't. We suggest you check your plan.)
